About our wonderful home...

Page Street is a tight neighborhood full of wonderful people.
Page Street is packed with friendly people. We've had street parties, mourned losses of loved ones and pets, pitched in to help one another, and celebrated new family additions together

842 Page Work We've Done

On the west side next to the driveway:
We replaced gravel and kikuyu grass with an herb garden and shrubs.
We replaced a dilapidated back porch with a stone patio and redwood steps.

Inside the house:
Most of the house interior has been painted within the past year.
We installed all new weather stripping .
We installed wooden blinds in the living room and dining room.

Structural improvements:
Recent earthquake retrofitting makes the house sit tight (the retrofitters, and all the inspectors, told us this house is very solidly built and in great shape).
We ran power into the garage.
A new sewer pipe from the toilet to the street was installed four years ago.

842 Page's Magic Garden

Our neighbor in back, Yanai, helped us remove a messy weed tree—a big acacia whose branches threatened to fall onto another neighbor‘s house.
We dug out all the roots of the acacia (months of hard work!), replacing the uneven yard of ugly kikuyu grass with a beautiful stone patio and lush, tropical plants. Lying in the hammock under the fig tree, we like to pretend we’re on vacation! Some Plants in the Garden
